AMENITIES

CLUBHOUSE COMPLEX

The Preserve was created for families who are as passionate about adventure as they are about relaxation – where the memories are as vivid as the landscape, in a community where your family can connect with nature and each other.

The Community Clubhouse is the hub of activity, where friends and families meet for a swim, gathering or game of tennis. It’s also a convenient spot for regular meetings and community gatherings.

CLUBHOUSE

The Community Clubhouse is accessible 24-hours to members. Designed and built by Tony Martin, Inc. of Fredericksburg, the great room is a welcoming location for community or private events.

SWIMMING POOLS

Lap pool and recreation pools are available to members 24/7, with convenient changing rooms and outdoor showers on site. A BBQ pavilion and gracious Texas porches face the pool.

SPORT COURTS

The clubhouse complex includes tennis courts, basketball hoop, and putting green. The sports closet in the clubhouse is stocked with gear for members’ convenience.

ON-SITE MANAGEMENT

A full-time and experienced staff is dedicated to the management and daily upkeep of the ranch. This team is also available upon request to assist with maintenance on homeowners’ properties.

TRAIL SYSTEM

The 22-mile trail system meanders the entire 2,000-acre ranch. Trails are maintained for hiking, biking and horseback riding. ATV’s and other motorized vehicles are not allowed on the trails.

EQUESTRIAN

RIDE ANYTIME — ANYWAY
1,500 acres of protected open space

With 22 miles of established trails, the opportunity to stroll, run or ride the majestic hills, picturesque valleys and wildflower-rich hillsides, are just outside your doorstep

The HOA owns four ranch horses that are available for trail rides and lessons guided by our wranglers. In addition, horse boarding services are available to members, with shared access to the equestrian facilities, pastures and trail system.

EQUESTRIAN CENTER

Premier equestrian facilities include an ten-stall stone barn with tack room and restroom facilities. Adjacent are the covered and open arenas for riding lessons.

TRAIL RIDES

Equestrian wranglers are available to guide trail rides across the 22-miles of trails. Members reserve their rides  through the community online platform.

WALNUT SPRINGS

TOWHEAD CREEK

Towhead Creek originates on the south side of PWS and meanders through the site, with intermittent dams and stocked ponds along the way.

STOCKED FISHING PONDS

Picnic pond and Fisherman’s Pond are stocked with sun fish, bass and catfish. Fishing supplies are kept in the sports closet in the clubhouse.

SWIMMING HOLE

At the far southern end of the site, a hidden swimming hole provides a place to cool off at Walnut Spring. This fenced acreage is like a hidden oasis, with hammocks, a picnic table, and an arbor walk that connects to the trails.

WILDLIFE

More than a decade ago, the Preserve set in place a Wildlife Management Plan that nurtures the land, provides for a healthy herd of Texas longhorn cattle, and monitors and manages native & exotic species populations. Our whitetail deer hunting program seeks to balance conservation and recreational goals.
